Marco Bezzecchi continued his strong run by taking a fifth straight MotoGP victory in a race full of mistakes and close fights.
Acosta made a perfect start and took the lead into Turn 1. Both Aprilias also launched well, moving into second and third, while Di Giannantonio dropped behind Marc Márquez to fifth. Soon after, Acosta made a mistake and lost the lead to Bezzecchi, but stayed close. Bagnaia recovered positions early and passed Mir for sixth. Di Giannantonio tried to move forward but was passed again by Marc Márquez, before taking the place back after Márquez made an error.
On lap 2, Johann Zarco crashed in sector 2 but was able to continue. After the opening lap, the top 10 were: Bezzecchi, Acosta, Martin, Di Giannantonio, Marc Márquez, Bagnaia, Mir, Aldeguer, Alex Márquez and Ogura.
Acosta later made contact with Bezzecchi while defending, with the incident investigated. Yamaha riders struggled at the start and dropped to the back. At the front, Bezzecchi, Acosta and Martin pulled away, building a gap of over one second to fourth place.
Marc Márquez served his long lap penalty on lap 4 and dropped down the order. On lap 5, Martin attacked Acosta into Turn 1 but could not get past. Joan Mir was also penalised for cutting the track and then crashed out on lap 6.
On lap 7, Martin ran wide at Turn 1, allowing Di Giannantonio to close in. After 10 laps, the order was: Bezzecchi, Acosta, Martin, Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia, Ogura, Alex Márquez, Bastianini, Marc Márquez and Fernandez.
Ogura then made strong progress, passing Bagnaia for fifth and later overtaking Di Giannantonio for fourth, closing on the podium places. Behind them, Bastianini and Marc Márquez fought closely for position.
With five laps to go, the top 10 were: Bezzecchi, Martin, Acosta, Ogura, Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia, Bastianini, Marc Márquez, Alex Márquez and Fernandez. Soon after, Ogura suffered a technical issue and retired from the race.
Marc Márquez and Bastianini continued their battle, exchanging positions several times. Bastianini eventually secured sixth place and began chasing Bagnaia, who was struggling and dropped further down the order.
In the final laps, Bagnaia dropped back to eighth and then tenth while trying to defend his position. At the front, Bezzecchi remained in control and secured another victory – his fifth in a row. Jorge Martin finished second for Aprilia, while Acosta completed the podium ahead of Di Giannantonio. Marc Márquez recovered to fifth, ahead of Bastianini, while Toprak Razgatlioglu finished 15th to score his first MotoGP point.
