Please expect your luggage to be checked at the entrance. Find out what you can bring and what you should leave at home. Whether it's merchandise or food and drink, we recommend that you do not try to deceive the organisers or the security staff. If you are found with a prohibited item, it will be confiscated and disposed of. In extreme cases, you may even be refused entry.
At COTA, spectators have multiple parking options, each with its own pros and cons. Let's break them down:
The primary option is to use the official parking lots provided by COTA. The main advantage of this option is proximity, allowing you to park relatively close to the circuit. However, availability can be limited, and traffic around COTA can be challenging during race weekend, potentially adding extra time to your journey to the track.
Unofficial parking lots are typically located about a 15-20 minute walk from the circuit but offer several benefits. The biggest advantage is cost; these lots are significantly cheaper compared to official parking areas. Moreover, because they are not right next to the circuit, accessing them is often easier, potentially saving you considerable time in traffic.
These unofficial lots are usually operated by private individuals, but some have official websites where you can make reservations, which is highly recommended if available. If you plan to pay for parking on the spot, it’s advisable to bring cash, as credit cards may not be accepted.
In 2025, COTA’s circuit gates were open from Friday to Sunday at 8:00 AM. Access to the official parking lot was available from 7:30 AM. Times for 2026 will be confirmed later; we recommend checking the official circuit website for the latest information.
