Every year, the Grand Prix of the Americas offers a very rich and entertaining supporting programme. For 2026, the experience is even bigger with the return of iconic fan hubs and new racing categories.
The atmosphere at the COTA circuit during the MotoGP weekend is electric. The Grand Plaza serves as the main heartbeat of the event. In 2026, fans can look forward to the massive Ducati Island, celebrating the brand's 100th anniversary with exclusive bike displays and rider appearances. New for this year is the Harley-Davidson® Bagger World Cup fan zone, featuring custom bike shows and stunt performances.
While the food and drink selection at the Circuit of the Americas is varied and decent, the prices remain premium. Expect to pay between $10 and $12 for a beer and between $18 and $28 for a meal. The offerings range from authentic Texas BBQ and tacos to classic American fare and unique local food trucks.
There are plenty of restrooms around the track, with permanent facilities near the Main Grandstand, Turn 1, and Turn 15. Free water refill stations—essential for the Texas heat—are located at Turn 1, Turn 4-5, the Main Grandstand, and the Grand Plaza.
The observation tower at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) remains the circuit's most iconic architectural landmark. Standing 77 metres tall, this Miró Rivera Architects masterpiece offers the best view in world motorsports. For the 2026 season, the tower remains a must-visit for panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country and the entire 5.5 km track layout.
The tower is open throughout the MotoGP weekend. Visitors can take the elevator or brave the spiral staircase to reach the observation deck with its famous glass floor section. In 2026, the access fee is approximately $35 per person. It is highly recommended to visit during the Moto2 or Moto3 sessions for a unique perspective on racing lines.
The Hero Walk is the ultimate 2026 fan experience, located at the entrance to the Paddock. This is a specially designated area where MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 riders pass through to reach their garages. It offers a prime opportunity for autographs and selfies on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Additionally, the Germania Insurance Amphitheater hosts live Q&A sessions with the stars of MotoGP on Saturday afternoon. Following the Saturday Sprint race, the "Podium Party" moves to the fan areas, allowing everyone to celebrate with the top three finishers in a high-energy atmosphere.
